Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager for clients with annual revenue of $25M to $100M supporting the Emerging Middle Market area of our Commercial Bank. The role involves researching complex credit investigations, identifying process improvements, reviewing operational assignments, presenting recommendations, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans
Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers

Requirements:

2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $25M to $100M
Completion of a formal credit training program
Proven ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
Experience as a commercial banking Portfolio Manager with focus on Middle Market C&I, Commercial Real Estate, and Investor Real Estate
Strong expertise in loan origination, portfolio monitoring, financial modeling, credit underwriting, and risk analysis for complex commercial businesses
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex financial information clearly
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, banking regulations, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with the Bank's software and credit risk management tools
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
