Job Description:

Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator for Financial Spreading responsible for credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. Serves as a key member of a client's deal team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
  • Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
  • Perform moderately complex credit investigations on companies and industries
  • Receive direction from Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor and escalate noncompliant issues
  • Ensure credit files are current
  • Interact with the immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
  • Analyze, adjust and input financial statements (balance sheet, cash flow, income statement and financial ratios) from private and public companies across diverse industries into the bank's system of records
  • Prepare projected financial statements as per relationship managers requirement

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Graduate of any business course (e.g., Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce)
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Financial and Credit Analysis for Commercial Accounts
  • Strong familiarity with US GAAP and US Financial Statements (10K, 10Q)
  • High attention to details
  • Experience working in a Shared Service environment or Financial Institution
  • Strong Stakeholders and Client management skills
  • Able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
  • Ability to recognize and escalate to management for any process breaches

Nice to have:
