Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate within the Asset Based Lending group within Commercial Banking. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing client portfolios, managing risk, and collaborating with various teams to deliver credit solutions effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients
  • Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges
  • Participate or provide support to review and analyze low to moderately complex client portfolios
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations
  • Partner with senior peers to develop inquiries or identify gaps to support understanding of clients' businesses
  • Participate in regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions
  • Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on tools
  • Collaborate and consult with senior peers and functional partners to resolve client servicing requests
  • Contribute to functional area planning related to a given product

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related field
  • 1+ year of Commercial Banking or ABL experience
  • Loan and Portfolio Monitoring and Administration experience
  • Experience in client facing role with focus on problem solving and/or client experience
  • Advanced experience in MS Office suite of products
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels
  • Energetic, quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently, organizing and managing multiple priorities

Nice to have:
