The Commercial Assistant will work closely with the Commercial Management team to support the implementation of commercial strategies and plans that meet the organisation’s objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and assess potential commercial opportunities and risks
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and vendors to strengthen business partnerships
Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and initiating appropriate actions to address any issues
Collaborate with divisional teams to procure project requirements
Assist in running competitive tender processes across the supply chain, including supporting the preparation and review of documentation and financial information
Respond to ad hoc commercial enquiries
Requirements:
Sound understanding of a commercial environment
Experience in project costing and building commercial relationships
Composed, organised, professional, and resilient under pressure
Ability to produce and present clear reports and papers
Experience using contract forms such as LOGIC, NEC3 and NEC4, and BIMCO
