Job Description

Our client, a real estate investment trust firm, is seeking a Commercial Assistant Property Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as primary point of contact for tenants, managing daily operations, maintenance requests, and lease-related needs
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through regular communication and issue resolution
  • Oversee vendors, monitor performance, and assist with contracts and invoicing
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain tenant files, insurance certificates, and compliance tracking
  • Support budgeting, reporting, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes
  • Partner with internal teams and support events and property initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial property management required (retail/mixed-use preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues independently
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, invoicing, AR, and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
