As a Commercial Assistant, you enable the sales of products and services by efficiently managing all product information, administrative processes & tools. You provide accurate and timely information to the commercial team members and customers in order to ensure that the sales force can reach the individual and collective sales targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure customers records are up to date in our SAP and CRM system
  • Organize the launch of new products together with customers
  • manage relevant/required data in the customers’ systems
  • Manage the product life cycle
  • prepare sales forecasts and inventory monitoring and enable accurate sales reporting (BI)
  • Communicate effectively internally with people from different departments and report to the KAM/Sales Manager
  • Develop an effective relationship with customers (complete tender documents, inform about product changes and availability, follow up on promotions, update prices, etc.)
  • Manage customer complaints and collaborate with the product managers and the quality managers of the production plants to ensure effective complaint handling
  • Ensure the update and follow-up of contractual documents and customer statistics

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree preferably in sales or marketing
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a branded and private label environment
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and German both spoken and written is a must
  • Good mastery of IT tools: MS Office tools (Excel in particular), SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Autonomous, with a strong customer-oriented mindset
  • Good interpersonal skills, likes to solve problems

  • Supporting the buyer across the Beauty business – ensuring thorough knowledge of product and market
  • Negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers i.e. margin, trade discounts, markdown support, working with the Buyer and Head of Buying where appropriate
