Commercial Appraiser

• Perform critical reviews of externally prepared commercial appraisals
• manage the review process
• contract with vendors and manage their performance
• maintain job tracking system
• review portfolios
• lead valuation due diligence or special projects
• prepare market studies and internal appraisals
• perform sensitivity analyses for property cash flow projections
• evaluate the feasibility of complex investments
• resolve issues not compliant with Citibank policies
• advise risk managers regarding complex real estate issues
• provide balanced risk views of properties.

• 10+ years of appraisal experience
• 3 years in a lending institution
• Bachelor’s degree
• completed and passed all Appraisal Institute classes necessary for the MAl designation or equivalent education
• state Certified General Appraiser
• expertise in commercial appraisal for all major property types and special purpose properties
• proficient in MS Office
• proficiency in Argus and Rockport VAL DCF software and MS Excel
• comprehensive understanding of USPAP
• understanding of FIRREA and other Regulatory Policies concerning appraisals
• familiarity with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and SBA appraisal requirements
• analytical skills

• maintain good relationships with internal clients and vendors.
