Job Description:

As a Contract and Commercial Manager at EDF Power Solutions, you'll protect value, shape outcomes and support major onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects across the UK. You'll be responsible for the commercial health of large capital renewable projects, providing trusted quantity surveying and contract management expertise from pre-construction through delivery. Working closely with project teams, procurement, finance and legal colleagues, you'll have the space to influence decisions, sharpen your commercial judgement and grow your expertise across a diverse renewables portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing commercial performance across assigned renewable energy projects
  • Preparing cost estimates, cost reports and forecasts aligned to project maturity
  • Leading valuation, payment, variation and final account processes
  • Providing clear commercial and contractual advice to project teams
  • Managing supplier relationships, claims and commercial disputes

Requirements:

  • A degree in quantity surveying or a similar discipline
  • Chartered membership of RICS
  • Proven experience managing contracts, valuations, cost reports and payment processes
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC forms of contract
  • Experience of cost reporting, forecasting, accruals and change control on large projects
