Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded administrator who enjoys working with data, suppliers, contracts, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The Commercial Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of supplier management, procurement activity, and business change initiatives. You'll be central to maintaining governance, coordinating projects, and supporting informed commercial decision-making.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintaining supplier and contract registers, ensuring accuracy and governance
  • Managing supplier price changes and contract renewals through a structured tender calendar
  • Liaising with suppliers and outsourced partners to resolve invoice and contract queries
  • Supporting procurement activity, including tracking savings and supplier performance against KPIs
  • Preparing commercial and project briefs for new products and business change initiatives
  • Coordinating business change and IT projects, including maintaining change logs, risk registers, and progress updates
  • Working closely with data and finance colleagues to ensure consistency and quality of commercial data
  • Providing general administrative and ad-hoc support to the Commercial Manager

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a commercial, procurement, or finance support role
  • Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to understand supplier performance and cost impacts
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Nice to have

An interest or experience in project coordination or business change would be advantageous
