We are now looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our Compass Commercial Management team. This is a high‑profile, fast‑paced role requiring both a commercial and operational mindset, working closely with teams across Foodbuy including Client Experience, Culinary, Category and Supply Chain to deliver against sector priorities. Supporting the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping sector supply‑chain strategy, driving delivery against agreed KPIs and supporting both short‑term execution and longer‑term strategic initiatives. This role is ideally suited to a resilient, hands‑on commercial operator who enjoys stakeholder management, problem‑solving and delivering change within complex organisations. What we’re looking for You’ll bring a strong blend of commercial capability, stakeholder management and delivery focus, along with: Experience operating in a complex, fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. A proven track record of influencing cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues and deliver process improvement. Experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering projects supported by clear plans and timelines. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into insight and action. Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to challenge constructively and hold others to account. A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach with a genuine “can‑do” attitude. A passion for sustainability and supporting wider CSR goals.
