Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining and building a book of business
  • Identify new leads via research, the existing client base, referrals and networking events
  • Developing productive business relationships with key stakeholders
  • Run your own marketing campaigns
  • Ensure customers are put first and make sure their experience reflects their longstanding reputation for outstanding customer service

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a direct to customer, face to face commercial insurance within the SME market
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, resilient and tenacious
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Be able to problem solve, use own initiative and judgement
  • Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, due skill, care and diligence
  • Possess good IT skills to use Word documents and specific Mutual systems
  • Sales and customer service skills
  • Educated to A-level with 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Driving licence to visit clients at their business premises
