Aurizon’s Bulk business is growing—and we’re looking for a commercially savvy Commercial Account Manager to take ownership of a key customer portfolio in Western Australia. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with major customers, optimise contract performance, and identify new growth opportunities—while working closely with operations to deliver real outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
  • Drive contract performance, ensuring value, compliance, and commercial outcomes
  • Identify and secure new business and growth opportunities
  • Lead customer negotiations and support long-term contract renewals
  • Provide accurate forecasting and insights (weekly, quarterly, long-term)
  • Act as the key conduit between customers and internal teams
  • Use data and market intelligence to influence decisions and outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, sales, or commercial roles
  • Strong contract management and negotiation capability
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
  • Ideally, exposure to transport, logistics, or large-scale operations
