Aurizon’s Bulk business is growing—and we’re looking for a commercially savvy Commercial Account Manager to take ownership of a key customer portfolio in Western Australia. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with major customers, optimise contract performance, and identify new growth opportunities—while working closely with operations to deliver real outcomes.
Job Responsibility
Own and manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
Drive contract performance, ensuring value, compliance, and commercial outcomes
Identify and secure new business and growth opportunities
Lead customer negotiations and support long-term contract renewals
Provide accurate forecasting and insights (weekly, quarterly, long-term)
Act as the key conduit between customers and internal teams
Use data and market intelligence to influence decisions and outcomes
Requirements
Experience in account management, sales, or commercial roles
Strong contract management and negotiation capability
Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive decisions
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
Ideally, exposure to transport, logistics, or large-scale operations
