Serves as the overall account lead for large named accounts, focusing on driving value for the client while maximizing revenue and margin for the company; specializes in selling IT solutions, hardware, software, and services in remote or hybrid settings; builds professional client relationships and generates growth opportunities in strategic accounts.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinates/Owns account plans for strategic commercial accounts in the account planning process
focuses on larger deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management
sells a range of company products and solutions
establishes a professional working relationship with clients up to executive level
builds growth opportunities using the account planning process
generates leads and collaborates with other specialists or partners as needed
responsible for achieving/managing quotas
recommends and implements pipeline management practices
sells solutions that include hardware, software and services
identifies customer requirements and matches them with company capabilities
Requirements:
University or Bachelor's degree preferred
deep knowledge of basic enhanced products, solution and service offerings as well as competitors' offerings
extensive vertical industry knowledge and advanced degree of selling skills
typically 5-8 years of experience in account management handling Mid-Market SMB, Commercial Accounts & Public Sector
experience in product specialty (servers, storage, cloud)
ability to coordinate internal and external partners
consultative selling skills
partner organization intelligence
competitive selling skills
broad understanding of customer's needs
ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity
