Job Description:

Serves as the overall account lead for large named accounts, focusing on driving value for the client while maximizing revenue and margin for the company; specializes in selling IT solutions, hardware, software, and services in remote or hybrid settings; builds professional client relationships and generates growth opportunities in strategic accounts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinates/Owns account plans for strategic commercial accounts in the account planning process
  • focuses on larger deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management
  • sells a range of company products and solutions
  • establishes a professional working relationship with clients up to executive level
  • builds growth opportunities using the account planning process
  • generates leads and collaborates with other specialists or partners as needed
  • responsible for achieving/managing quotas
  • recommends and implements pipeline management practices
  • sells solutions that include hardware, software and services
  • identifies customer requirements and matches them with company capabilities

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • deep knowledge of basic enhanced products, solution and service offerings as well as competitors' offerings
  • extensive vertical industry knowledge and advanced degree of selling skills
  • typically 5-8 years of experience in account management handling Mid-Market SMB, Commercial Accounts & Public Sector
  • experience in product specialty (servers, storage, cloud)
  • ability to coordinate internal and external partners
