Job Description:

The Commercial Account Manager is a specialist in HPE VM Essentials, responsible for pipeline creation, progression, and conversion within the Enterprise and below customer segments. This role focuses on new logo acquisition and new revenue streams, driving proactive campaigns and leveraging industry expertise to qualify opportunities. The position involves close collaboration with Account Managers, partners, and hybrid solution leaders to scale standard solutions and expand HPE's presence in the virtualization market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and support a portfolio of new and existing customers, focusing on HPE Virtualization solutions
  • Drive proactive sales efforts, aligning HPE's product portfolio with customer needs and industry trends
  • Analyze customer industries and competitive landscapes to effectively position HPE solutions
  • Manage and optimize sales projects while creating growth forecasts
  • Participate in solution campaigns to increase sales and generate new projects
  • Execute up-selling and cross-selling strategies to strengthen customer relationships
  • Source, develop, and expand new opportunities, maintaining a focus on customer outcomes
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales objectives through effective pipeline management
  • Provide weekly updates on active accounts, reporting on sales activities, status, and progress
  • Leverage PTB and IB data to target and prioritize opportunities in collaboration with Account Managers
  • Conduct account and industry research to position HPE VM Essentials effectively
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor strategies to position HPE more effectively
  • Lead initial customer conversations, validating virtualization opportunities and use cases
  • Develop pursuit plans and manage the sales pipeline to align with account managers' strategies
  • Establish professional consultative relationships, understanding client business needs and aligning them with HPE's virtualization solutions
  • Collaborate with partners, including Channel, GSI, and SDPs, to drive market expansion

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Field Sales experience with strong background in selling software solutions
  • Previous experience with selling virtualization
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, IT, or a related field
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, responsibility, and eagerness to learn
  • Local language and English fluency are required

Nice to have:

  • VMware knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience selling Hypervisor technologies
  • Channel sales experience is preferred
