Job Responsibility
Be the commercial sales expert assisting the HPE Networking Sales team for sales and solution related activities
You will lead Mist and Aruba sales engagements, presentations, solution demonstrations and answer related questions
Analyse customer and partner requirements, then develop Mist and Aruba solutions aligning to business needs
Become the AI for Networking subject matter expert and leverage that knowledge to position AI Ops with all audiences from the IT Network Engineer to CIO
Work with HPE Partners to drive enablement, growth and scale
Position HPE’s Wi-Fi, Wired Assurance, WAN Assurance and Location Based Services solutions vs competitive solutions creating winning designs
Drive proof of concept pilots for customer opportunities
Help create design/deployment guides for public and internal consumption
Be an active member in the Mist community
Collaborate with HPE Networking Sales, Product Marketing and Engineering teams to work on customer projects and provide feedback on industry trends and requirements
Requirements
Proven sales track record of 7+ years in a Account Management capacity, or related roles with a WLAN manufacturer, Networking vendor or Partner experience
Combination of exceptional Sales/Commercial and Technology/Architecture knowledge and experience, including at a leadership level
Exceptional customer facing skills, with ability to communicate at all levels, including CxO executive presence/Gravitas
Excellent communicator and public speaker to a variety of audiences both internal and external
Technically astute and either an expert in the enterprise WiFi market, or possesses the demonstrated capability to become a subject matter expert rapidly
Technically capable to define specific product requirements and understand how they will affect customer networks. Must be able to use industry background as the basis for making assessments of the future requirements of Juniper solutions/use cases
Excellent ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and build consensus – build and drive virtual cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written/presentation interpersonal skills are critical
Ability to work independently and with a team with a passion to drive continuous success
Open to travel
University or Bachelor's degree
Advanced degree or MBA preferred
Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities
Viewed as expert in given field by company and customer
is a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy
Typically 12+ years of experience as referenced above
5 years sales / account management experience
Highly experienced in WLAN industry
Have excellent time management skills and presentation skills. Is the go to expert for the technology or solution being presented
Strong high-level customer management relationship building, especially working with executives in lines of business, and sometime board level
High level of negotiation skills at high level customer management
Adept at advanced sales negotiations and positioning solution value under pricing pressures from customer IT and procurement professionals.- proactive presentation of value solutions
Extensive partner organization intelligence and ability to work closely with multiple partners, to engage the client in business solutions
Uses financial-selling techniques with the client and company internal to position value and advance sales motions
Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes in complex, large deals
Relevant knowledge of client's industry
keeps abreast of trends and lead discussions with IT on strategic directions and linking discussions
Strong knowledge of the company's breadth of solutions and engages specialist resources as needed
Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to the company's solutions
Ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity on a complex, large deal basis
