Job Description:

The VME Essentials Digital Sales Account Manager is a specialist in HPE VM Essentials, responsible for pipeline creation, progression, and conversion within the Enterprise and below customer segments. This role focuses on new logo acquisition and new revenue streams, driving proactive campaigns and leveraging industry expertise to qualify opportunities. VM Essentials is HPE's streamlined, cost-effective virtualization solution designed for small to mid-sized businesses.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and support portfolio of new and existing customers focusing on HPE Virtualization solutions
  • Drive proactive sales efforts aligning HPE's product portfolio with customer needs
  • Analyze customer industries and competitive landscapes to position HPE solutions
  • Manage and optimize sales projects while creating growth forecasts
  • Participate in solution campaigns to increase sales and generate new projects
  • Execute up-selling and cross-selling strategies
  • Source, develop and expand new opportunities
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales objectives through pipeline management
  • Provide weekly updates on active accounts
  • Leverage PTB and IB data to target opportunities
  • Conduct account and industry research
  • Maintain understanding of competitor strategies
  • Lead initial customer conversations validating virtualization opportunities
  • Develop pursuit plans and manage sales pipeline
  • Establish professional consultative relationships
  • Collaborate with partners including Channel, GSI, and SDPs

Requirements:

  • Must have: Portuguese speaking, English and Spanish proficient
  • 3+ years of field sales experience with strong background in selling software solutions
  • Previous experience with selling virtualization highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, IT, or related field
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, responsibility, and eagerness to learn

Nice to have:

  • VMware knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience selling Hypervisor technologies
  • Channel sales experience is preferred
