Job Description:

We’re working in partnership with a well-established and growing insurance brokerage to recruit a Commercial Account Executive for their Consumer & Local Commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven insurance professional to join a forward-thinking business where they will manage and develop a portfolio of B2B clients-ranging from sole traders to large corporates. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, driving new business, and contributing to the continued success of the local commercial team.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients
Work alongside the Branch Manager to achieve team and business objectives
Generate business through marketing, networking, and community engagement
Identify new opportunities and deliver consultative advice and tailored insurance products
Attend client meetings and networking events
Support clients with expert advice and customised solutions
Identify and follow up on growth opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to meet performance targets

Requirements:

Proven ability to win new business and build long-term client relationships
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for business development
A consultative, client-first approach with strong listening and communication skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confident, consultative, and proactive in approach
Adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn and grow
Solid understanding of commercial insurance and client needs
