Job Description:

We are working with a key client of ours who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler Team Leader to join their office located in Peterborough. This role will include all line management responsibilities alongside working with all aspects of corporate commercial insurance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage a small team of Account Handlers
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality client service in accordance with the agreed Scope of Service Agreement
  • Liaise effectively with Managers and to address client needs and concerns
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and business procedures
  • Drive change and allocate resources as necessary
  • Manage a portfolio of clients in line with Advisory Market Placement Strategy and Client Service Strategy
  • Identify revenue development opportunities and make recommendations to Client Managers

Requirements:

  • ACII or equivalent preferred but no essential
  • Insurance experience is a must, ideally gained at an insurance broker within a commercial insurance background
  • Proven experience in managing high-performing teams
  • Proficient level of technical knowledge in insurance classes
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise work and embrace change positively
