Job Responsibility

Role will be all commercial account handling duties dealing with international business
Opportunity to deal with existing clientele
Take ownership of problems and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary
Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets
Responsible for the management and development of new and existing accounts
Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience handling corporate accounts, with a focus on larger, complex clients
Proven track record of providing tailored insurance solutions and delivering excellent client service
Cert CII qualification or a willingness to work towards achieving it
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
A proactive team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Sound knowledge of credit control procedures and insurance administration processes

Job Responsibility

Provide expert broking and administrative services to a portfolio of corporate clients
Collate and prepare detailed reports for clients and insurer markets
Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and deliver tailored insurance solutions
Ensure premiums are settled in accordance with company credit control procedures
Identify new business opportunities to support sales teams and expand the client portfolio
Complete all post and diary activities daily, adhering to company standards and procedures

Requirements

Previous experience working as an Account Handler within the commercial insurance market is essential
Knowledge within cross class risks such as Hospitality & Leisure, Manufacturing, Property, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, D&O, Motor Trade/Fleet is ideal
Prior experience handling corporate clients would be an advantage, however, experience handling SME commercial business is also valued
Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII would be an advantage

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ requisite experience
Proficiency in the principles, practices, and legal aspects of major classes of General Insurance
In-depth knowledge spanning various Insurance products
Familiarity with the UK General Insurance market
Understanding of FCA requirements pertaining to Commercial customers outlined in ICOB
