Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in commercial insurance sales, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a portfolio of existing clients and developing new business opportunities
Meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as new business, renewals, cross-selling, retention ratios, and profitability
Conducting client meetings to identify needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
Negotiating with insurers to secure the most appropriate coverage for clients
Presenting recommendations and insurance options to clients and closing sales
Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and company policies
Handling complaints in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters
Conducting regular training and professional development to stay updated on industry standards and regulations
Maintaining accurate and compliant records of all client interactions and transactions

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products
Proven experience in an Account Executive or Senior Account Handler role within a broking environment
Demonstrated ability to build strong and sustainable client relationships
Proven track record in sales and achieving growth in commercial insurance
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and self-management abilities
Cert CII qualified or working towards Dip CII
Full driving licence and access to a car for business use

Nice to have:

Diploma in Insurance
Experience in delegating work to or supervising an Account Handler
