Job Description:

Lawes is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing insurance organisation to appoint a senior Account Executive. This is a high-profile role and is essential in retaining and developing a substantial commercial book of business. Backed by significant private investment, the business is scaling rapidly across the UK, with more than 50 locations nationwide and a strong appetite for growth and acquisition.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and develop a well-established commercial book of business (£150K-£200K, depending on region and experience)
Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and industry engagement
Provide tailored insurance solutions to mid-sized and larger commercial clients
Ensure all work aligns with current compliance and regulatory standards
Support business-wide objectives following recent structural changes aimed at boosting performance
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations to maximise opportunities and service delivery

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in the commercial insurance sector
Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio with a focus on client retention and growth
Proven success in driving new business
Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulatory expectations
Experience operating across competitive and regionally diverse markets
ACII qualified or working towards the qualification
Familiarity with platforms such as Acturis
