As a Commercial Account Executive at Keepit, you will play a key role in our ambitious expansion across ANZ. Our mission is to become the preferred provider of cloud data security, backup, and recovery solutions for SMB, Commercial, and Enterprise customers. To support your success, you will partner closely with a dedicated team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who generate qualified opportunities. You will take ownership of these opportunities while proactively building additional pipeline through your assigned accounts and collaboration with channel partners. Success in this role requires the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, deeply understand customer needs, and drive the full sales process in close collaboration with partners and Presales. You will join our growing ANZ team and report to the Head of Sales. The role is based in Sydney, with a hybrid work setup (home office and local Keepit office—coming soon).
Job Responsibility:
Build and nurture strong relationships with commercial customers (1,000–5,000 employees) and key decision-makers
Drive new business development by creating and expanding a high-quality pipeline in collaboration with SDRs and Field Marketing
Own the full sales cycle—from initial engagement and discovery to demos, negotiation, and close
Manage pipeline effectively and deliver accurate forecasts
Collaborate closely with channel partners in a 100% partner-led go-to-market model
Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Account Executive within the commercial segment
Proven track record of driving new customer acquisition
Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to open new accounts and develop new verticals
Hands-on, tactical, and commercially sharp dealmaker
Skilled at building long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Solid understanding of the SaaS landscape
Strong knowledge of the ANZ market
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently
Fluent in English
Based in Sydney, comfortable with a hybrid work environment
Nice to have:
Experience in backup, recovery, or cybersecurity is a plus
