Rapid7 is seeking a curious and customer centric Commercial Account Executive to join our ANZ sales team and be responsible for customer acquisition in an assigned territory/ vertical, contributing to the growth of the region. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a proven track record in an inside sales role, commercial territory or successful track record as SDR/BDR outbounding position in ANZ looking to take the next step in their sales career.
Job Responsibility:
Source new prospects and thoughtfully position Rapid7's offerings to meet their needs
Establish and sustain a robust relationship with existing customers, proactively identifying new business opportunities, requirements and defining solutions that deliver value to our business and our customers
Turn customer feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and influence customer choices, advocating for their needs to negotiate win-win solutions
Become a trusted advisor with prospects and customers, building credibility and trust
Stay current on competitor offerings identifying their strengths and vulnerabilities
Collaborate effectively with various functional teams including Channel, Sales Engineering, Renewal Account Team,Marketing and Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth
Develop and take responsibility for individual pipeline, providing accurate updates on forecast to sales leadership on a weekly and quarterly basis
Provide appropriate sales tracking and reporting as required leveraging our CRM Salesforce.com and Clari.
Requirements:
Proven track record selling SAAS/managed services to the commercial market in QLD
Previous experience or exposure to a full cycle New Business Sales role within a cybersecurity/cloud/SAAS vendor or Partner
Takes full accountability for sales achievement approaches achieving targets with tenacity, determination and a drive to succeed
Knowledgeable of the territory market and market trends within cybersecurity and the cloud space, able to demonstrate credibility and expertise with our prospects and customers
Customer centric approach to sales, understanding the customers needs and drivers, with the ability to handle objections and remove barriers
Creative, able to challenge convention and come up with new solutions to drive revenue and create customer outcomes
