We are seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Commerce teacher to join our collaborative and future-focused Commerce Learning Area. Beginning teachers are also welcome to apply. The successful applicant will have a subject specialism within the Commerce Learning Area and be fully capable of teaching Accounting, Business Studies and/or Economics across Years 10–13.
Job Responsibility
Teach Commerce across Years 10–13
Contribute to the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) and other authentic enterprise opportunities
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including our Kaitiaki mentoring programme and Learning Area initiatives
Requirements
Passionate about Commerce education and able to inspire students through engaging, relevant and future-focused learning
An effective classroom practitioner with strong classroom management skills and the ability to create purposeful, positive and inclusive learning environments
Skilled in responding to the needs of diverse learners
Experienced in, or willing to contribute to, the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) and other authentic enterprise opportunities
Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including our Kaitiaki mentoring programme and Learning Area initiatives
Has a subject specialism within the Commerce Learning Area and be fully capable of teaching Accounting, Business Studies and/or Economics across Years 10–13
