Job Description

The Senior-Level CAG/DAG / Business Operations Specialist performs critical acquisition support, planning, and business operations duties in support of the Space Force at Los Angeles Operations in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will serve as a primary integrator for technical and programmatic responses, ensuring that the directorate remains responsive to high-level taskers from the Space Systems Command (SSC) and Department of the Air Force. This position requires an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders
  • Frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as Task Management Tool (TMT) and MS Office Suite
  • Advise leadership on the status of assigned deliverables and maintain high-level appointment calendars and conference room schedules
  • Perform daily review, analysis, and dissemination of tasks
  • Use NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) and email to retrieve and assign tasks
  • Update the tasker database for daily leadership reporting
  • Assemble and provide instructions on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packages
  • Coordinate communication across various leadership levels
  • Provide direct support to PEO PMRs, All Calls, and other high-level mission meetings

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically supporting DoD acquisition programs
  • Demonstrated experience with 5 years of recent Space Force or Air Force activities (preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of DoD tools, specifically the Task Management Tool (TMT) and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Effective communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills
  • Ability to work independently on time-sensitive, high-visibility tasks
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (required)
  • US citizenship (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics is required
