Job Description:

Campus Recreation is accepting applications for the Colonels Camp Counselor position. Colonels Camp is Campus Recreation’s weeklong summer camp session for children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. In addition to experiencing the Student Recreation Center and the EKU Campus, children will participate in a variety of activities including sports, games, rock climbing, crafts, swimming, educational programs, field trips and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the weekly planning and preparation of Colonels Camp
  • Provide safety and supervision of the children
  • Facilitate and lead a variety of activities
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
  • Have fun

Requirements:

Full-time student at EKU or in your graduating semester

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with children and/or in a camp setting
  • Student majoring in Education, Recreation & Park Administration and other related programs
