We are looking for an experienced Collibra Data Governance Specialist to support our data governance and metadata management initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business, data, and technology teams to implement Collibra solutions, define governance standards, and ensure high-quality metadata management across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and maintain Collibra workflows, integrations, and governance solutions
Partner with business and technical teams to define and implement data governance policies, standards, and operating models
Manage and maintain metadata quality, lineage, and stewardship within the Collibra platform
Work closely with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and BI teams to ensure alignment of metadata, data models, and governance frameworks
Support Collibra platform upgrades, including EDGE migrations and JavaScript installations
Design and maintain complex data models for structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and time-series datasets
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for metadata and data profiling purposes
Integrate Collibra with Data Warehouses/Data Lakes such as Snowflake, Databricks, and ETL/BI environments
Leverage data quality frameworks and tools (e.g., Great Expectations) to drive improved data trustworthiness
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure consistent governance adoption across the enterprise
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field
Hands-on experience with the Collibra platform (Collibra workflow development is a must)
Prior experience in banking or asset management with exposure to Data Governance tools (Collibra/Atlan)
Familiarity with data governance operating models, stewardship, and governance standards
Strong exposure to Data Warehouses / Data Lakes like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
Experience using programming frameworks such as Python, Spark, or equivalent
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for various data types
Proficiency in SQL with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and views
Experience with data lineage, ETL tools, and data integration frameworks
Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
Experience with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations preferred)
Ability to work with tools like MS Office, JIRA, and similar applications
Exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment
Nice to have:
Certification in Collibra Ranger, Collibra Workflow Engineer, or Collibra Data Governance
