Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Collibra Data Governance Analyst for a client looking to strengthen and mature its enterprise data governance program. This role will be responsible for configuring and administering the organization's metadata management platform, ensuring critical data assets, business definitions, policies, and lineage are accurately documented and governed across the enterprise.

Job Responsibility

  • Configure and maintain the firm's enterprise metadata management platform (Collibra) to accurately represent critical data assets and governance policies
  • Implement and administer metadata management processes that support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives
  • Build, maintain, and enhance business glossaries and data dictionaries to establish consistent data definitions across the organization
  • Design and implement operating models, asset models, and metamodels within Collibra while ensuring usability for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop and manage workflows, reference data, and data lineage harvesting processes
  • Create and maintain asset types, domain types, attributes, and relationships that accurately describe and classify key business data
  • Validate and document data lineage from source systems through downstream consumption points
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data owners, and governance councils to drive adoption of governance standards and best practices
  • Translate complex data governance concepts into clear, actionable standards for both business and technical teams

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with Collibra in a configuration, administration, or implementation capacity
  • Proven experience defining business terms, workflows, governance processes, and approval workflows within Collibra
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage concepts
  • Experience collaborating with business leaders, managers, and data governance councils
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs
  • Familiarity with data quality, master data management (MDM), or related governance initiatives
  • Experience working within highly regulated or data-driven environments
