College Track is a comprehensive college completion program that equips students from underserved communities to be the first in their families to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. We do this by offering a holistic, asset-based program that invests in each of our scholars over 10 years: from high school to college, through the launch of their careers.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate College Track’s LEAD curriculum and college readiness programming, helping scholars explore their purpose, develop leadership skills, and complete critical college access milestones
Provide individualized college advising to a caseload of scholars, guiding them through the complex process of preparing for, applying to, and enrolling in and matriculating to college
Build trusting relationships with scholars, providing culturally relevant support and fostering a strong sense of belonging within College Track
Work alongside school staff and partner organizations to create a holistic support network for each scholar, ensuring aligned goals and communication
Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 120 high school scholars, ensuring each student is equipped with the support they need to matriculate to college and earn a bachelor’s degree
Requirements:
Direct experience working with first-generation college-bound students
Facilitation skills and the ability to use culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals, including students, caregivers, and teachers
Experience tracking and analyzing data to refine strategies and strengthen scholar support
