We are seeking a College Assessor Trainer to join our team. In this role you will, teach and assess practical engineering subjects, supported and underpinned by relevant theoretical knowledge, across Level 2, Level 3, and apprenticeship programmes. The role also includes responsibility for course leadership, as well as contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of the engineering curriculum within the department.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, prepare, deliver and assess both practical and theoretical engineering sessions
Deliver engaging teaching and learning activities tailored to meet the needs of individual learners
Set, mark and maintain accurate records of coursework and assessments
Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers
Maintain high expectations of learner performance
Contribute to the work of subject and programme teams
Actively promote the Institute’s provision
Continuously evaluate and enhance the quality of teaching and learning
Requirements:
Industrial experience within the engineering sector
Level 3 or above professional Engineering qualification
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above
