KSCAC places recent college graduates inside partner high schools to guide students through every step of post-secondary and workforce planning: two- or four-year college, technical certificates, apprenticeships, military, and direct-to-work pathways. As a KSCAC Advisor you become the school's go-to resource for applications, financial aid, career exploration, and employer connections.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree
  • Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager

  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Organized, self-directed, able to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Experience mentoring or tutoring youth, especially those facing economic barriers
  • Familiarity with college admission, financial-aid processes, or workforce development resources
  • Spanish proficiency a plus
