Job Description:

London College of Fashion (LCF) is seeking a College Admissions Tutor to play a key role in the assessment and processing of undergraduate applications within the Fashion Business School. This is a maternity cover position initially for six months, with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the undergraduate recruitment cycle
  • Working closely with Course Leaders to understand suitable applicant profiles and ensure that academic decisions are made effectively
  • Assessing applications, making offers, rejecting unsuitable candidates and referring applicants to alternative courses where appropriate
  • Supporting outreach activities and contribute to the promotion of undergraduate study at LCF
  • Participation in recruitment events, engagement with pre-degree students, delivering presentations and attending external recruitment opportunities

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate/higher degree in Business, Fashion or a relevant subject area
  • Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate recruitment within a higher education setting or experience of teaching undergraduate business subjects would be advantageous
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve objectives
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be committed to delivering an outstanding student experience
