Our College Admissions Associates guide our clients through the college admissions process, helping students present and maximize their unique strengths, accomplishments, and potential in a student-focused and ethical way. The College Admissions Associate is a remote, part-time, year-round role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build on your admission experience to work with a diverse group of families at various socioeconomic levels and help them successfully navigate the education system
  • Conduct one-on-one phone counseling sessions on a range of college admissions topics
  • Provide feedback on college application essays
  • Track all work in the online client registration system
  • Complete additional duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Experience in undergraduate college admissions required
  • The ability to reach all audiences and meet families where they are in the process
  • High degree of integrity and teamwork, positive and flexible attitude
  • Strong editing and writing skills preferred
  • Strong relationship building skills, confident presence, and a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Access to reliable phone and internet service
  • Experience in the college admissions and/or education counseling fields
  • Ability to fully utilize software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, CRM)
  • Ability to perform Internet research
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • High degree of accuracy, organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to relate to both students and parents and mediate between them
  • Ability to self motivate and work independently to meet all deadlines, and administrative and client responsibilities
