We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play an integral role in managing and optimizing collection processes to ensure timely payments and maintain positive client relationships. Job Responsibility:
Manage and execute collection activities for both commercial and consumer accounts
Ensure timely follow-ups with clients to address overdue payments and resolve outstanding balances
Analyze account histories to identify discrepancies and develop strategies for resolution
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and collection processes
Maintain accurate and updated records of all collection activities
Communicate professionally with clients to negotiate payment plans and settlements
Monitor and report on collection performance metrics to ensure goals are met
Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to credit and collections
Address disputes effectively by investigating issues and providing solutions
Support the development of policies to enhance overall collection efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections
Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes
