Collections Specialist

• Oversee commercial and consumer collections, ensuring timely payment from clients
• Manage and execute credit-related collection activities to minimize outstanding balances
• Handle billing collection processes efficiently and accurately
• Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks and Workhorse to maintain financial records
• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment issues and disputes
• Monitor accounts receivable and provide updates to management on collection status
• Develop effective strategies for improving collection rates and reducing overdue accounts
• Maintain organized documentation of collection activities and payment agreements
• Work collaboratively with technicians and other team members when necessary
• Adapt to training and utilize company-specific systems to streamline collection tasks

• Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections
• Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection processes
• Familiarity with financial software like QuickBooks and Workhorse is preferred
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and dispute resolution
• Ability to work independently in a small office environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific systems
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
