Manage an assigned group of accounts and pursue outstanding balances with a focus on achieving delinquency reduction targets, including balances aged beyond 60 days
Record collection outreach, customer responses, and next steps in a clear and timely manner so account activity can be reviewed and continued by other accounts receivable team members when needed
Prepare accurate account status updates that support aging analysis, weekly reviews, and month-end reporting for leadership
Provide regular credit hold recommendations and account updates to the AR Manager to help determine when customer accounts should be released or maintained on hold
Investigate high-risk or difficult accounts, escalate concerns appropriately, and coordinate with leadership and sales partners when outside collection support may be necessary
Review account balances and supporting documentation to reconcile discrepancies and assist with decisions related to write-offs or third-party placement
Respond promptly to customer emails and manage internal and external ticket requests within established service expectations
Handle a mix of mid-sized, key, and high-visibility customer accounts while supporting additional accounts receivable duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in business-to-business collections and account reconciliation
Ability to work a permanent schedule and provide overtime support when business demands require it
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to customer interactions
Proven ability to analyze payment behavior, identify trends, and determine appropriate collection actions
Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment
High attention to detail with the ability to document account activity and follow through on payment commitments
Proficiency with NetSuite, Excel, and Word
High school diploma or equivalent required
