Collections Specialist

• Manage accounts receivable collections with a focus on B2B transactions, ensuring timely payments from clients
• Oversee cash application processes, accurately allocating payments to appropriate accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP platforms to streamline financial operations
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Monitor balance sheet accounts and reconcile them regularly to maintain financial accuracy
• Provide detailed reporting on accounts receivable statuses and cash application activities
• Support accounts payable functions as needed to ensure seamless financial operations
• Assist in implementing improvements to financial workflows for greater efficiency
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address payment-related inquiries

• Proven experience in accounts receivable collections, preferably within B2B and construction industries
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
• Familiarity with auditing practices and balance sheet account management
• Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external clients
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
