Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial health by ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounts. You will also foster strong client relationships and contribute to various accounting tasks as needed.

Job Responsibility:

Initiate and manage outbound calls to hospitals and other clients to address outstanding orders and overdue payments
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring prompt resolution of payment issues
Monitor accounts receivable to identify and prioritize collections efforts
Handle inquiries related to outstanding balances through both inbound and outbound communications
Collaborate with the finance team on projects and tasks related to accounting and collections
Maintain accurate records of all collections activities and payment agreements
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions
Assist with additional finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections processes
Strong knowledge of handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients
Proficiency in financial recordkeeping and maintaining organized documentation
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with accounting practices and finance-related projects
Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payment issues efficiently
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial processes
