Collections Specialist

• Manage collection efforts across outstanding customer accounts and maintain steady follow-up to reduce overdue balances
• Review account activity, billing records, and payment status to identify issues and support timely resolution of receivables
• Communicate with customers regarding past-due invoices, payment commitments, and account discrepancies in a clear and detail-oriented manner
• Work within Sage Intacct to research job details, confirm billing information, and update collection-related records
• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify charges, investigate account questions, and remove obstacles delaying payment
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize accounts that require immediate attention based on risk and delinquency trends
• Document customer interactions, collection progress, and next steps accurately to maintain clear account histories

• Experience supporting accounts receivable and collections in a fast-paced business environment
• Working knowledge of commercial, consumer, or general credit and collections practices
• Ability to manage billing collection activities with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfort using multiple systems to research account information and track collection activity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer outreach and internal coordination
• Availability to work onsite in Prince Georges County, MD on a consistent daily schedule for 40 hours per week

Experience with Sage Intacct, or similar financial and operational platforms is preferred
