Collections Specialist

• Manage business-to-business and consumer collections efficiently, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding accounts
• Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent customer service
• Implement effective collection strategies tailored to individual client needs
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities and account statuses
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth processes
• Analyze accounts to identify patterns and recommend improvements in collection procedures
• Communicate effectively with service industry clients to build and maintain positive relationships
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies throughout the collections process
• Utilize knowledge of the construction industry to manage related accounts effectively
• Provide regular updates and reports on collections progress to management

• Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections
• Strong understanding of credit and collection processes
• Proficiency in managing billing and collections activities
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle client concerns professionally
• Familiarity with the service industry and its unique client needs
• Experience working with construction industry accounts is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
