Collections Specialist

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections
• Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and secure outstanding payments
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve account issues
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of collection activities
• Provide exceptional customer service while balancing firm but professional collections practices

• 2+ years in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in a service-based industry
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
• Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated understanding of billing functions and collection processes
• Prior experience as a collector is strongly desirable
• Solid understanding of credit management and principles
• Excellent customer service skills, with a proven record of handling customer inquiries and disputes
• Experience in a call center or customer service environment is beneficial
