Our company is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our Stamford team. This onsite role (5 days per week) will focus on high-volume collections, executing outbound calls and emails, and effectively logging activities in a large ERP system such as NetSuite.
Job Responsibility:
Manage high-volume collections process, including outbound calls and emails to clients and customers regarding overdue accounts
Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities in NetSuite or similar large ERP platforms
Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve account discrepancies
Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts in accordance with company policy
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and support timely collections
Meet and exceed daily and weekly collection targets
Prepare regular reports on collection status and account activities
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all communications
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in collections, preferably in a high-volume environment
Proven track record of handling outbound communications and achieving collection targets
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Stamford, Monday through Friday
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
