Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our Stamford team. This onsite role (5 days per week) will focus on high-volume collections, executing outbound calls and emails, and effectively logging activities in a large ERP system such as NetSuite.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage high-volume collections process, including outbound calls and emails to clients and customers regarding overdue accounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities in NetSuite or similar large ERP platforms
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve account discrepancies
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts in accordance with company policy
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and support timely collections
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly collection targets
  • Prepare regular reports on collection status and account activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all communications

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in collections, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Proven track record of handling outbound communications and achieving collection targets
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Stamford, Monday through Friday
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
