Job Responsibility:
Manage and execute High Volume Commercial collections activities (calls and emails) to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances
Run and analyze aging reports for your assigned client base to identify overdue accounts and develop strategies for recovery
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
Apply cash to ensure accurate posting of payments
Maintain detailed records of all collection efforts and communications
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquencies
Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding collection status and outcomes
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all collection activities
Support the development of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of collection operations
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Commercial collections
Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes, including billing and cash applications
Proficiency in analyzing aging reports and developing actionable recovery plans
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage client relationships effectively
Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple accounts
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in collections
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in collections operations
