Job Description:

Contract to permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while enhancing your skills in attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume payment posting and will play a key role in managing accounts receivable and maintaining financial accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct both inbound and outbound calls to manage collections and resolve outstanding balances
Process daily cash applications, ensuring accurate allocation of payments to customer accounts
Post high-volume cash receipts, including wire transfers, checks, and credit card transactions
Track daily deposits and retrieve remittance data to maintain financial records
Address vendor inquiries promptly and provide necessary resolutions
Update and maintain customer files to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
Follow up on past-due accounts and document all interactions and outcomes in the system
Record customer payments accurately in the appropriate reports and reconcile discrepancies

Requirements:

Proven experience in collections, including handling commercial accounts
Strong knowledge of credit and collections processes
Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) procedures and cash applications
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and vendors
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines
