We are seeking a high-energy, professional Bilingual Collections Agent III to join our dynamic National Collections team in Saint John. In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance and negotiating solutions for a broad range of banking products. You will balance inbound and outbound call activity to help customers manage their financial obligations while deepening their relationship with the bank through expert advice and professional service. This is a 1-year contract offering a positive, high-learning environment and the chance to work within a large, supportive team of 45 professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to existing and prospective customers
Engage in high-quality conversations to understand customer needs, provide financial guidance, and negotiate payment arrangements
Manage inbound and outbound call activity
Accurately record and document all customer interactions
Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal and provincial policies and regulations related to collections
Participate in daily touchpoints and contribute to process improvement opportunities
Ensure necessary due diligence is taken to support the accuracy of all customer transactions and activities
Requirements:
Fully fluent in French and English (verbal and written)
2–4 years of experience in a call center, financial services, or customer service environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and active listening abilities
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a close-knit office environment
Nice to have:
Previous experience in Banking or Collections
Any Post-Secondary education
Previous experience working in a high-volume call center environment
