Collection specialist

• contacting customers (by phone and email) to solicit payments
• managing customer accounts, including updating data and handling transfers
• monitoring and processing payments, including managing overpayments and refunds
• identifying and resolving payment issues, escalating as necessary
• create accounts receivable reports and forecasts
• support in process improvement and compliance projects (SOX)

• fluent in English and Italian or French or Dutch (min. C1)
• university degree (preferred: finance, accounting, business)
• min. 1 year of experience in debt collection/B2B customer service or in a high-volume environment
• knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and system SAP
• ability to analyze financial data and manage credit risk
• strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
