As our Collection Manager – Consumer Credit, you’ll play a key role in owning and evolving our end-to-end collection strategy across consumer lending products, with a strong focus on data, segmentation, and AI-driven decisioning.
Job Responsibility:
Design and execute data-driven collection strategies – Leverage advanced analytics and predictive models to design collection strategies tailored to different risk profiles and product types.
Develop AI-powered collection approaches – Drive the adoption of AI to enhance next-best-action logic, predictive contact strategies, and intelligent prioritization of accounts to maximize recovery rates.
Personalize customer engagement & tone of voice – Define and implement differentiated communication strategies, adapting tone, channel, and timing based on customer behavior.
Optimize performance and ROI – Own key collection KPIs (recovery rates, roll rates, cost-to-collect), ensuring all initiatives are measurable and ROI-positive.
Guarantee service levels and compliance – Ensure all collection activities meet defined SLAs and regulatory requirements, balancing effectiveness with fairness.
Manage stakeholders and ecosystem – Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Data, and Legal teams, while managing external partners like collection agencies.
Requirements:
Deep experience in Consumer Credit & Collections – You have 7+ years of experience in collections within consumer lending (e.g., BNPL, unsecured/secured credit), with a strong track record in strategic and operational roles.
Fintech, Banking, or Finance Background – You have previous experience in a Fintech environment, modern Banking, or Financial Services.
Knowledge of SEPA Framework – Familiarity with SEPA payment schemes and regulations is considered a strong plus.
Strong Data & Analytical Mindset – You are highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets and segmentation models to drive decisions.
AI & Innovation Orientation – You have experience (or exposure) to AI applications in collections, such as predictive scoring, automated decisioning, or advanced contact strategies.
Strategic Thinking with Execution Focus – You can design sophisticated strategies but also ensure flawless execution, bridging analytics and operations.
Customer-Centric & Behavioral Approach – You understand how to influence customer behavior through tailored communication and channel optimization.
