Job Description:

Join Ellucian as a Colleague Student Consultant, providing expert support in higher education solutions focused on the Colleague product suite, specifically Colleague Student, to enhance customer operations and ensure successful technology adoption. This role provides personalized and on-going guidance and support on Ellucian solutions and customer business operations post-implementation, enabling customers to maximize value from their solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Consult with clients to deliver high-quality support for the Colleague Student product
  • Implement new functionalities
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project completion
  • Execute and complete assigned projects within the time and scope negotiated with the customer
  • Evaluate existing business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement
  • Implement systems and proof of concepts that best fit the customer's needs
  • Provides high-quality customer consultation and support to Ellucian’s Colleague product suite, specifically Colleague Student
  • Assists customers with implementing new functionality into the Colleague Student
  • Assists clients in troubleshooting issues related to Colleague Student and other modules within the Ellucian Colleague product suite
  • Interacts with the customer and other consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces and customizations
  • Provides direction in developing testing methodology and test scripts for use during upgrades, patch application and customizations
  • Facilitates business process review and application prototyping sessions as well as providing insight into best practice methodologies
  • Evaluates and modifies systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices
  • Provides customer high-quality business process, change management and other appropriate documentation
  • Works with the customer to test and confirm modifications and/or updates meet specifications
  • Implements modifications and/or updates
  • Provides guidance in the development of user-training strategy, and when appropriate, delivers such training
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Colleague
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a higher education Registrar’s Office or equivalent consulting experience
  • In-depth functional knowledge of business processes as related to Registrar’s Office and functions within colleges and universities
  • Expert knowledge of business process and Colleague operations within Colleague Student
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
