Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Ph.D., DBA, or master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in accounting)
Ability to teach a variety of accounting courses at the undergraduate level
Demonstrated commitment to student engagement and experiential learning in higher education
Online teaching certification or evidence of prior experience teaching online
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and collegial approach to academic work

Job Responsibility

Teach undergraduate courses in accounting and related business areas (24 credit hours per year)
Use engaging, innovative, and experiential teaching methods aligned with the mission and learning objectives of the School of Business
Advise and mentor students regarding academic progress, professional preparation, and career development

Participate in department, school, and university service, including committee work and contributions to assessment and accreditation activities

Job Responsibility

Is available for remediation of students as required or needed
