Job Description

Wissen Technology is hiring for Cognos T1 Developer. We are looking for a skilled Cognos T1 Developer with strong experience in Planning Analytics (TM1/Cognos T1) development, reporting, and support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing and developing cubes, rules, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes, and dashboards while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective planning and reporting solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions
  • Develop and enhance cubes, dimensions, rules, and Turbo Integrator (TI) processes
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and planning models
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Perform data integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities
  • Optimize TM1 models for performance and scalability
  • Support month-end/year-end planning and reporting activities
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, QA, and Infrastructure teams
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics development
  • Hands-on expertise in designing and developing cubes, rules, Turbo Integrator (TI) processes, and dashboards
  • Experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
  • Exposure to ETL and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • BE/BTech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field

Nice to have
